Summer holds its own special magic in Tioga County with the Morris Rattlesnake Hunt, Woodsmen’s Show, Lumber Museum, Red Suspender Weekend in Galeton, Concert on the Mountain, National Fishery Research and Development Laboratory, airplane rides over the Canyon, sleigh rides, rafting and canoeing at Tioga-Hammond Lake and Cowanesque Lake and farm vacations.

Those who thrive on spectator sports will need a camera and plenty of film to capture the Grand Canyon on Pennsylvania, Corning Glass Center, Williamsport Little League Museum, Watkins Glen Raceway and the excitement of the Pro Rally and Regatta race the first weekend in June.

The Wellsboro area also hosts the State Laurel Festival held annually in June. Within a short biking distance of Kaltenbach’s is the 62 mile Pine Creek Rail Trails.
